Raid On Suspects In Bombing
Outrages.
INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE.
MELBOURNE, November 30.
As a sequel to the recent bomb explosions detectives fully armed to-day raided wharf labourers' homes. They discovered gelignite, pistols, bayonets, iron piping and pencilled drawings of bombs.
Five men were arrested. Their names are:—Terry Dean, George Wool port* Timothy Connell, Joseph Donnelly and Herbert Irish. They have been charged with vagrancy and with being in the possession of goods believed to have been stolen.
All- the accused were released on bail.
