BUTTERFAT PAYMENTS.
CHEESE FACTORY SUPPLIES. DAIRY BOARD CONFERENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, this day. In the course of an interview this morning, Mr. lorns, chairman of the Dairy Produce Board, said an important conference was being called, to be held at Wellington next week to discuss the report of Mr. Veale on the question of the high butterfat contents of milk used for cheesemaking, and the present system of payments on a butterfat basis to milk supplied by cheese factories.
