LOVE LIFE!

Many of us go through life uneasily because we are afraid of life. We suspect that it has something unpleasant in store for us. We go half-way to meet troubles. We are never care free, contented, cheerful. We ask ourselves how anyone can be who knows what life is. Yet the happiest among us are really those who "see life steadily and eee it whole." They do not expect too much of it, but they face its possibilities without shrinking fear. They take the best it has to offer. They make the most of its gifts. They live in the present, neither regretting the past nor worrying about the future. If troubles come they bear tnem manfully. They neither collapse nor whine. They are steadily poised; they are calmly joyful because they are not afraid of life. They love life, and therefore life loves them. —L.C.
