FIRST OF VISITORS FOR TAKAPUNA.
ARRIVAL OF MILLAIS. The three-year-old gelding Millais, by Leighton from Matty, arrived at Elierslie on Saturday evening in charge of A. Lord. Millais, who is engaged in the Takapuna Plate on the opening day of the Takapuna meeting, is looking bright and muscular, and was out doing pace work on the sand track at Ellerslie this morning.
