PRESBYTERIAN CALL.

MINISTER ASKED TO REMAIN. PAHIATUA, this day. At a largely-attended meeting of the Presbyterian Church yesterday morning a resolution was carried unanimously requesting the minister, Rev. F. McDonald, to remain with the congregation. Mr. McDonald received a call to Kaitangata, Otago. The matter will be dealt with by the Wairarapa Presbytery. At the Presbyterian Assembly in Auckland last week speeches were made eulogising the work of Mr. McDonald, and also of his wife, during his pastorate.
