FANCY DRESS DANCE.

A children's fancy costume dance was held at Birkenhead on Saturday in the K.A.O. Buffaloes Hall. This proved a most successful and enjoyable function, dancing and games being indulged in, afternoon tea being then served, and every child received a bag of sweets. Songs were sung by Miss Jean Waller. The children's parade to the hall in Mokoia Street from Hauraki Street was a pretty sight. The arrangements were carried out by a committee, comprising Mesdames J. Gracie (organiser), S. Carson, R. E. Walker, J. Mahoney. I. C. Gully, W. Davidson, Percy Roebuck, Menzies, Davenport, M.
