GAOL FOR RESISTING. KEENAN'S BAD MEMORY. "I don't remember anything about it whatsoever." said George Keenan (35), who was charged with drunkenness in Graham Street on Saturday," using obscene language anfl resisting .the police. Just to jog Keenan's memory, Constable Moore got in the box and said that Keenan was drunk. He used some bad language and when witness went to arrest him, Keenan resisted so violently that assistance had to be secured in order to handcuff him. "Twice you were here last month and many times you have been convicted for resisting and assaulting policemen," said the magistrate. "Last time I let you off lightly with a fine. This time it will be one month's imprisonment."
