A GOOD TRICK.

If one is wondering what to give as an item at a party, this trick is very simple- and is. easily performed. The person suddenly exclaims that his or her hands itch and asks for the name of someone. The audience bombards him with names and, selecting one, he asks for it to be written on paper. He then burns the paper and rubs the ash on his hand, and, behold the chosen name appears. Beforehand, however, a name of a person that is sure to be given is written on the back of the hand in milk with a match stick, which, when dry, is unable to be seen.
