WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.
BURTON—CUNNINGHAM,
A recent evening wedding at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Huntly, was that of Jeannie Smart Barbar Cunningham, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Cunningham, of Onslow Street, Huntly, to Harry, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Burton, of Huntly South. The Rev. M. C. Gibb officiated. The bride was given away by her father, and wore a dainty frock of ivory satin and silver lace, relieved with pearls and silver trimming. A coronet and embroidered veil, trimmed with pearls and orange blossoms finished the toilet, and 6lie carried a bouquet composed of sweet peas, carnations, roses, asparagus, maiden hair fern, with white streamers. In attendance was her sister, Miss Ina Cunningham, who wore a dress of lavender crepe de chine, relieved with silver lace and silver trimming, also headdress to tone. Her bouquet was composed of sweet peas, carnations, larkspur, asparagus and levender ribbons. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. I. Riley, who was best man. The Town Hall was the scene of the reception, and was beautifully decorated with white and lavender streamers and wedding bells. Mrs. Cunningham received the guests in a royal blue brocaded silk, trimmed with gold lace, and hat to tone. Mrs. Burton wore navy blue silk with cream lace and hat to tone.
