STRANGE DISAPPEARANCE.
(Received 12.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. Four months ago Robert Virtue, oi Ballarat, reported to the police that hie daughter Harriet, aged four, had gone for a walk with William Hiddle, aged eighteen, and had failed to return. Tne police were unable to trace the missing youth and the child.
