DOUBLE "L."
BTRD'B SECOND SHIP. THE CORRECT SPELLING. (By Telegraph Special to "Star.**) WELLINGTON, this day. Telegrams from Dunedin differ in the spelling of the name of the secu..d ship of the Byrd expedition, the Eleanor Bolling. She is named after the Christian name of Commander Byrd's mother, his father, a distinguished American lawyer, having married Miss Eleanor Boiling Flood. Apparently a mistake was made in renaming the vessel itself an "1" being left out of her second name. "Who's Who in America ,, would further confuse the position, because there the Christian names of Mrs. Byrd, sen., are given as Elinor Boiling. Those who wish to carry out Mr. Byrd's intention in naming the vessel may adhere to "Eleanor Boiling," which a "Post" reporter was assured by Mr. I _ren, Commander Byrd's secretary, is . Vet.
