Dr. A. P. Coker ha 6 returned from a visit to the East Coast.

Staying at the Central Hotel are Mr. E. H. Frith (Wairoa), Mr. L. E. Eastabrook (Wellington), and Mr. L. D. List (Hawera).

Mr. M. Rudd, who has been acting as manager of the Union Company's Christchurch branch for nine months, has resumed his position as assistant manager at Auckland.

Grand Hotel guests include Mr. and Mrs. G. Ellis (Wellington), Mr. J. H. Hides (Melbourne), Mr. H. W. Grieseu (Dannevirke), and Mr. C. Clabburn (Wellington).

Mr. Alex Burt, who has been visiting Dunedin, returned to Auckland by the Limited express this morning. Mr. Burt will return South in the course of a few days.

The Rev. Professor Hewitson and Mrs. Hewitson, of Knox College, Dunedin, are visiting Auckland. Professor Hewitson is the moderator-designate of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, which is to commence its annual session here next Wednesday.
