. I POINT CHEVALIER CLUB. The Point Chevalier Homing Pigeon Clult flew their All Aged Stakes, a special nomination race, from Palmerston North last week. The weather was line but there was a moderate head wind. The winning bird, Mr. A. Robinson's Maori Warrior, cut out the 2-tC miles in about seven hours and a-lialf. .Results :— Mr A Robertson's r c c Maori Warrior, 1094 yds per minute 1 Mr I. The birds encountered heavy rain and head winds, with the result that only two members clocked in. Mr. T. Hughes' consistent black cock Midnight Sun homed first, after flying for over 10J hours. HAMILTON CLUB. The Hamilton Pigeon Club held two races on Saturday, one from Palmerston North and one from Paekakariki. Owing to unfavourable weather conditions, no birds arrived home in race time from Palmerston North, and only five were timed in from Paekakariki. Results as follows:— Paekakariki Race.—A. Sharpe's Young Oakland (721.11 yds per minute), 1; T. ' Humphreys' Komeo (721.1yd5), 2; A. Sharp's Dark Oak (720 yds), 3; A. Sharp's Black Prince (719 yds), 4; W. G. Pountney's 249 (712 yds), 5. Twenty-eight birds competed. T. Humphreys won the pool. MANUNUI PIGEON CLUB. The Manunui Homing Pigeon Club flew a race on Saturday from Newmarket fo r a trophy presented by Mr. J. Butler, each member to se »l three birds and clock in two. The resi.t was:—Mr. J. Whittaker's Commendation and Sweet Memory 1, J. Langwell's Concliff and The Shrew 2, K. Patterson's Juno and Degage 3. On Sunday the club flew a single up, fifteen minutes' interval, from Auckland. The bird 3 were liberated by Mr. Len Cffntell, and the result was:—D. Andrews' Patchwork (1106 yds per minute), 1; R Patterson's Sunny Trace (1020.9yd5), 2D. Wilson's Cinema Star (1006.5yd5), 3; J. Langwell's Bell Harold (952.9yd5), 4; J. Whittaker'e Gloaming (454.6yd5), 5.
