Although ehe paid * warm tribute to the Reform Government and eaid that "Reform could do anything," Sirs. C. E. The candidate- was accorded a good reception, although there was a little good-natured heckling towards the end. Mrs. Maguire said that the apprentice la we of the country were quite wrong. "It k> not right to allow only a of apprentices," eh© said. A Voice: If you had too many apprentices you would be doing men out of a job.
I think the thing could be fixed up alt right, to prevent such a state of affairs/ , ehe replied.
The invalidity pension being investigated by the Reform Government was also criticised by the candidate. "There ,is one thing that ie wrong about it," said Mre. Maguire. "A person is allowed to have property worth up to £1000, but ie not allowed £100 in liquid money.
