DANA AT SUVA
DANISH EXPLORERS FOR NZ
The Danish scientific expedition whlek is touring the Pacific in the steamer Dana is mow at Suva, and expects to leave there on Monday for New Zeeland, it is not yet known whether Auckland or Wellington will be made A* headquarters of their activities in, New. Zealand waters, as the chief of the expedition, Dr. J. Schmidt, is still on Ml way from Europe. He and his wife ax* aboard the Rotorua, which is due »t Auckland on December 1.
The Dana is a converted Britiik trawler, which has been specially fittel up for deep sea scientific research. Sht was built by Cochrane and Sons, Lti, Selby, and was launched in 1917 as the John Quilliam. She is 2SS tons gross.
