GREY LYNN CONTEST.

UNITED MAN SUPPORTED. An attentive hearing was accorded Mr. John B. Fletcher, United candidate for Grey Lynn, in Armstrong's Hall, Point Chevalier, last night. The candidate explained the United party's policy, with special reference to the extension of the Flock House system to New Zealand Boys. The audience, which numbered about 200, carried a vote of thanks and confidence on the motion of the Rev. Mr. Boyd, seconded by Mr. V. McMillan.
