LABOUR CANDIDATES ACTIVE.

Two meetings in the open air were addressed by Mr. Fred. Bartram, Labour candidate for Grey Lynn, last night. Crowds, aggregating 700 to 800 people, listened to the candidate at the Zoo tram terminus, and the Richmond bus terminus, his exposition of Labour's platform and criticism of the Government being roundly applauded. Resolutions of thanks and confidence were carried with cheers.

Mr. A. S. Richards, Labour candidate for Roskill, addressed a large audience at the corner of Hillsboro' and Mount Albert Roads last evening. A vote of thanks and confidence was passed.
