MATAMATA UNION.
The annual reunion and distribution of prizes of the Mat areata Rugby Union was held on Thursday night. The following awards were made: —Seniors. Barry Cup. Patetere Club: juniors. Bose Shield. V> ardville Club; third grade. Union Banner. Matamata Club: secondary schools cup. Ilinepoi: t'nderwood gold medal, for mostimnroved player. A. Story. The Finlay Cup. the premier trophy for competition "by sub-unions in the Waikato. was also presented. Matamata has created a record in this compnition. having won the trophy three years out of seven.
