RICCARTON TRACK WORK.
AS UNINTERESTING MORNING. CHRI ST CHURCH, this day. The weather was showery overnight and early this morning, but rain cleared off before work commenced at Riccarton. No. 6 grass track was open, and a large number of horses worked there, while others took on the 6and track. Proceedings were uninteresting, not many being sent fast. Banket ran six furlongs in 1.19 2-5; First Money, four furlongs in 52 3-ss; Decoy Bird, six furlongs in 1.22. Maneane did a working gallop aver a mile, the last three furlongs in 40 2-ss. Nine of Spades covered a mile in 1.51. Laughing Prince's mission was a working gallop of a mile. Lucy Locket and Set Sail finished two strong circuits with a - three-furlong sprint. Mime jumped two hurdles well. Troilus jumped two hurdles, but ran about at each flight. Most of the other horses out were confined to useful pace work.
