FIRE ON WHARF.

MELBOURNE, this day.

A largo quantity of flax, hemp and wool stacked on the Queen's wharf closc to the Queen's Bridge, ready for shipment, was burned last night. A man, who is alleged to have been seen acting suspiciously on the wharf, was arrested and has been charged with arson.
