DUNEDIN'S PROSPECTS.

MR. TAVERNER'S CAMPAIGN. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. Mr. W. B. Traverner, Mayor of Dunedin and the United party's candidate for Dunedin South, has been indisposed for some days, but will* now make a start with his campaign on Thursday, when he will address the electors. Labour candidates for both this seat and Dunedin North are having successful meetings, and their chances of success continue to look bright, but for the other two city seats Labour would appear to be going b/cfc. Its candidate for Dunedin Central has not even yet addressed a meeting.
