Rifle teams irom Paeroa, Thames, and Tanranjra, along with members of the local rifle club, participated in a shoot at Waihi range yesterday at 500 and 600 yards. The riflemen started in a downpour of rain, but later the weather cleared. In the teams match, Tauranga Olub won with a total of 414. Fnernn and Waihi tying for second place with 4uS. The best Individual score was made by Vive-president T-ittlejobn (Waihi), 90, Captain siuimonds (Paeroa) being second..
