FATAL COLLISIONS.

TWO AUCKLAND YOUTHS DIE.

INJURED WHEN CYCLING

William Murray, aged 19, of 36, Pompallier Terrace, Ponsonby, whose motor cycle collided with a motor car at Avondale early last Wednesday morning, died in the Auckland Hospital last evening. Mr. Murray received severe head injuries.

There was also a fatal sequel to the accident which befel Hubert Thomas, aged 18, of 7, Blake Street, Avondale. He was admitted to the hospital on October 10 with injuries to the head and a fractured leg. While riding a bicycle in Rosebank Road, Avondale, he was struck by a motor car, and thrown heavily.

The coroner, Mr. F. K Hunt, S.M., this morning opened the inquests touching the deaths c both young men. After taking evidence of identification in each case, the inquiry was adjourned sine die.
