Wealth really exists in innumerable forms, and often it ii only wealth so long as it is used in a certain way. A business may be worth £100,000, but 1 is only worth that as a going concern. You cannot pick it up and convert it into a hundred thousand sovereigns or pound notes. Similarly i , Oln ®, * man over militarv age may be worth £1000, but it may be quite impossible to take that £1000 as his contribution to • war.
