TRAFFIC ON GRAFTON BRIDGE.

_ I appeal to "jar walkers" on the Virafton Bridge to keep on the correct 6ide of tue bridge? In crossing from Grafton Road to Symonds Street they should keep on the harbour side, and on returning to Grafton Road they should cross on the Mount Eden side. I have to cross the bridge twice daily and I find it unpleasant to be insulted by a woman who insists upon keeping on her wrong side. At each end of the bridge there is a notice with three-inch block letters directing pedestrians where to cross the bridge, yet you see even policemen crossing on the wrong side. I once saw a headmaster of a city school taking his schoolchildren across on the wrong side, marching four deep, and I nearly had two fights on my hands only because I walk** on the right side. KEEP OX RIGHT-HAND SIDE.
