MEDICAL OFFICER'S COMPLAINT.

The need of increasing the provision of idestructora for dealing with the refuse of the city wasreferred to in a communication from the Medical Officer of Health, which was received by the Auckland City Council last evening.

Complaint wa% made in the letter about the state o) the Meadowbank tip. particularly as the council had failed to cover the refuse and the council was asked to take the, necessary steps to discontinue use of the tip. ;

On the Mayor's motion thci complaint from the Medical Officer of Health was referred to the Works Committee for consideration.
