In accordance with the Auckland town planning scheme* the One Tree Hill Road Board is-, considering a • plan for zoning in its portion of the Epsom and Manukau districts. . - A~.report, fr.om>Mr. W. E. Bush, the city, engineer, was received at last night's meeting of the board. He stated that in, his - opinion the whole of the Manukau Road would have to be open for the erection of business premises, except the aTea immediately in the neighbourhood of .the Sir' John Logan Campbell reserve. He suggested that a space. 100 feet, on each side of . the reserve, on the Epsom , side of the road, should be set, aside for residences only.' As, regards the Great South , Road, Mr. Bush advised that business premises should be restricted for the time being to small' areas at the Broadway ®''d St. Mark's Road junction, and at the junctions of Market Road and Green Lane with Great South Road. th? and Great South. Roads -the height of buildings should not exceed 50 feet, except ta of theatres and churches. The board decided to confer with Mr. Bnsh before formulating » definite scheme. . . . "
