DEPORTATION ORDER MADE.

P- Wong Kee ( 33) pleaded guilty at the -Police Court this morning, before Mr. .'-F; K. Hunt, S.M., to a charge-that he had remained in New Zealand beyond the time allowed by a temporary permit.

~ James Mcintosh, Collector of Customs, said. that Wong's permit expired in September: On behalf of the defendant Mr. McLiver said that Wong had been ill, otherwise he might have been able, to arrange for. the extension of the permit. • The defendant was fined, £20, with the alternative of one month's imprisonment.
