TO STAY ON BRIDGE.

Pilot Seamen's Union Through Troublous Times. WILSON NOT BETIRING. (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, October 17. • At the annual conference of the National Union of Seamen, to be held to-morrow, Mr. Havelock Wilson will announce his reconsidered decision to resign the presidency..

He has received urgent requests, both front Home and abroad, to continue in office. He is resolved to remain on the bridge during the present critical period. Is is understood that Mr. Wilson's decision- was largely influenced by the Trades Union Congress' expulsion of tii-i Seamen's Union. There is a possibility that efforts will be made to form another Seamen's Union.
