CONFIDENCE IN MR. COATES.
REFORM CONFERENCE ENDS. ORGANISERS THANKED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. ' Continued confidence in Mr. Coates as ( Leader of the Reform party and in the Government as the best Administration for New Zealand was affirmed at the fifth Dominion Conference of the New Zealand Political Reform League, which has just ended. Several reports presented by the Dominion secretary and the organisers are said to have been of a very satisfactory character, and each official was thanked for his services. A large number of remits were considered by the executive and some were sent on to the Dominion executive for consideration and action. The delegates were entertained at afternoon tea on Wednesday afternoon by the local executive, and at the Prime Minister's residence yesterday afternoon by Mrs. Coates. Before the conference closed its members affirmed their conviction that the Government would win through in the coming general election.
