TOWN BOARD ELECTION
Considerable interest is being displayed in Glen Eden in the forthcoming Town Board election. A meeting of ratepayers in opposition to the present regime on the board was held last evening, when it was unanimously resolved to form an association to be "known-as the Glen Eden Progressive Association. The officers elected were:—President. Mr. T. Dennis; vicepresident, Mr. Geo. Bond; secretary, Mr. W. B. Cameron. Strong views were expressed by the various speakers, all of whom had from time to time attended tile Town Board meetings as spectators, as to the state of warfare on the present board. It was felt that the best solution of the trouble was for the ratepayers interested in the welfare of the district to support the candidature of "new blood." With this object a strong panel of candidates was selected to submit to the public for approval at a future meeting to be advertised.
