I NORFOLK COMPANY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) MORRINBVILLE, this day. The twelfth annual report of the Sunny Park (Te Poi) Dairy Company states that during the year 107% tons of butter, 428 tona of cheese, and tons of whey butter were made. Payments made for the season for butter averaged l/3.454d, irrespective of grade, and for cheese 1/6. The balances available represent 1.292 d for butter and 1.06 d for cheese, making the totals 1/4.746 and 1/7.06. Bonus payments will be made at the annual meeting. The directors made arrangements some time ago with the Rural Intermediate Credits Board, with the object of facilitating advances for any suppliers who may wish to obtain them. The retiring directors are Messrs. J. M. Abbott, H. G. Mudford, and J. E. Davidson, the two first-mentioned of whom offer themselves for re-election.
The payment of a dividend of five per cent on the amount of paid-up share capital is recommended.
PIOPIO FACTORY. (From Our Own Corresponde.it.) TE KUITI, Thursday. A largely-attended smoke concert was tendered by the Piopio Co-operative Dairy Company to its suppliers on Tuesday evening, when dairy farmers were present from all parts of the district. The function was to mark the occasion of the winning of the Weddel Cup—a most remarkable ieat—for the third year in succession. Responding to the toast of the "Piopio Factory," the manager, Mr. F. P. Walker, ascribed the credit to the suppliers, who had produced a high-grade quality of cream. The winning of the Weddel Cup thrice in succession should dispel the impression that had got abroad as to the King Country's pos*;b:lit!«*i, Air. R. Neal remarked, in proposing the toast of "Our Consignment Agents." Mr. F. Leonard, representative of A. C. Rowson, in reply, stated that had iial the pleasure and opportunity of appreciating the quality of Piopio dairy product at first hand in Great BriUrn.
Mr. C. S. Stranger, manager of the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, urged .suppliers to continue to keep •jp the grade of their product. The type or butter box in which the product was packed for sending overseas, lie considered, was also important.
