THE MAIRTOWN CLUB. WHANGAREI, Thursday. The annual meeting of the Malrtown Tennis Club was held this week. The balance-sheet showed assets over liabilities of £215, and there was n cash balance of £4 in the bank. Officers were elected as follows :—President, Mr. R. C. Harington ; vice-president, Mr. M. C. Klshworth; secretary, Mr. O. H. Wnkelln; treasurer. Miss M. fteedman; club captain, Mr. Coxhead; vice-captain, Mrs. .Tamea; committee, Mlsa Wright and Messrs* Wakelln, 8. Finch, A. K. McLeod and J. Wlloon: auditor, Mr. R. N. Nicholls. An endeavour will be made to hare the courts re-surfaced before the opening day. September 22. THE WAHAROA CLUB. M ATA M ATA, Thursday.
