(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Monday. Frank Alfred Haines, a borough council employee, earning £4 8/ a week, opened a confectionery business as a sideline. His wife looked after the shop. Owing to the opening of an opposition shop, Haines' business failed, and he met his creditors in bankruptcy to-day.
