MAORI CHILD SCALDED.

OPOTIKI, Saturday.
A Maori girl, two years of age, was admitted to the Opoti'.i Hospital last night suffering from severe scalds on the face and head through falling into a vessel of boiling water which had just been taken off the fire in her parents' home at Waiinana.
Her condition is serious.
