Bridge. dancing. billiards and an exceptionally good unisieal programme were arranged for the guests' entertainment, and a thoroughly enjoyable time w a.s spent. 'Mr. J. Rol>ertson, president of the club, and Mrs. Robertson, received and welcomed the guests in the spacious reception room, where an orchestra dispensed delightful music. During the evening songs, which were much appreciated, were .snncr l>v Miss Alma McGruer, Mrs. Lan Sininson, Mr. Ernest Snell, and Mr. Birrell O'Malley. Elocutionary items wore given by Mr. F. -J- Barker, and a clever performance of conjuring by Mr. K. (r. "Cellar. Mrs. Robertson wore a frock of black georgette, heavily beaded in jet with a black embroidered black and white shawl.
