A CAUTION IGNORED

Because he ignored the caution administered him by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., last month, Joseph Richard McKeown (42) was sent to gaol for three months this morning.
McKeown appeared at the Police C ourt charged with drunkenness, using obscene language and procuring liquor while prohibited. He pleaded not ;uilty to all clVrges.
Constable Moore, of Freeman's Bay, said that in consequence of a complaint received. Jie went to accused's house in College Hill last night. McKeown, who was drunk, was causing a disturbance and would not be pacified. He used the language and was arrested.
McKeown, who was before the Court last month on similar charges and was cautioned, was now sentenced to three months' imprisonnient--half of what was promised him if he again offended.
