OPENING TO-MORROW.
AUCKLAND EXHIBITION.
FOR TEN DATS AND NIGHTS.
IN CENTRAL WHARF SHEDS. All will he ready for the official openteg of the Auckland Winter Exhibition In the Central wharf sheds at 2 o'clock to-morrow afternoon. The ceremony will he performed by the Mayor (Mr. Geo. Baildon), nnrl other speakers will be Mr. W. W. Massey, president of the Auckland A. and P. Association, and Mr. -T. A. C. Allum, president of the Auckland Manufacturers' Association, who are joint presidents of the 1928 exhibition, and the Hon. A. D. McLeod, Minister of Lands, and of Industries and Commerce, who will represent the Government. Throughout yesterday and up till a late hour last night many workmen were engaged building stalls and getting things ready for the important annual event. To-day saw similar activities, and some of those employed will be working well into the early hours of to-morrow morning. By 2 p.m. the sheds will have been transformed into an exhibition worthy of the Auckland Province. Entries in all sections have constituted a record, and already visitors to the city have begun to arrive from other parts of New Zealand.
