MYSTERIOUS MURDER.

Man Shot While Adjusting Radio Set. NEAR SCENE OF WRECK. (Received 12 noon.) NEWCASTLE, this day. A mysterious murder has occurred near Stockton, in the vicinity of the shipwrecked White Bay, and near where the Uralla is berthed. A man, Richard Moxey, aged 34, was shot dead while adjusting his radio set. The murderer fired through a window in the darkness, and then decamped. The motive has not been disclosed.

Mr. Moxey's wife and a youth, Arthur Fullarton, were in the room when the crime occurred.

The police expect to make an arrest to-day.
