DID A GOOD TURN.
TO HEI-P ANOTHER. YOUNG MAX ARRESTED. Henry Clouston (23), who was a spectator at the Police Court on Thursday and who saved another man from going to gaol for 6 months by making a statement to the police concerning a witness, found himself in the dock at the Court this morning on a charge of vagrancy. In asking for a remand until Wednesday, Chief Detective Hammond said that Clouston was suspected of two thefts at Wellington. "iiiis is the n.nni of Clouston doing a good turn for another," said Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M. "He has done a bad turn for himself. That's hard luck." I The remand was granted-
