Results Of King's Trophy Competition. WON BY CANADA. (Australian Press Assn.—Uuited Service.) LONDON, May 27. Details of the scoring for the King's Empire trophy for miniature ride shooting show that Canada was first with an average score of 79.21 out of 100, South second with 78.03, Britain third with 71.05, New Zealand fourth with G0.93. Australia did not qualify. Her entry was 3208, compared with 13,000 from South Africa, New Zealand 5028, Canada 4564. Silver and bronze medals for -cores above 97 were awarded to 239 ( anadians, 90 to Australians, six to New Zealanders.
The Naval Reserve, Newcastle, Australia, won the Senior Imperial Challenge Shield, with an average score of 98.<6, and headed the ten Australians in the honours list. The Royal Australian Nival Reserve, EdgeclifFe, was sixth with 95.95, Launcestou was eighth with 94.51. New Zealand scored seven honours, headed by C Companv, Second Battalion, Whangarei, with 86.97. Disappointment was expressed at the diminution in the number of Australian and New Zealand competitors.
