Offer By M. Venizelos Rejected. READY TO LEAVE GREECE. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 10 a.m.) ATHENS, May 27. It is announced that M. Venizelos has offered to resign the leadership of the Liberals and to leave Greece if the Royalist parties unreservedly accept tho Republic. The leader of the party of Free Opinion, General loannes Metascas, is consulting the leader of the Popular party, M. Panayioti Tsaldaris. Later M. Tsaldaris rejected M. Vorii/e----los' oiler. He said that the question of regime was not usable as a basis for bargaining. M. Venizelos had agreed to a reconstruction of the 'Cabinet, which, he said, he would tolerate if a bill to institute a Senate was promptly passed.
