AUCKLAND ROTARY CLUB.
TO-DAY'S LUNCH MEETING. There was a. larger attendance than usual at to-day's weekly lunch meeting of the Auckland Ilotary Club, held in the L. R. Eady Hull, the president, Mr. W. J. Holdswortli, occupying the chair. Amongst visitors present were:: Messrs. Jas. W. May (Leeds), Chas. Webster (London), J. H. Rogge (Java), W. W. Can ha ni and J. S. McMurray (Toronto), W. Heughan (Scotland), C. Todd (Wellington), N. Fulton and J. S. Barton (Wanganui), H. Lightband (Christchurch), W. J. Kirkham and Arthur Morris (Hamilton), J. W. Hollis (Whangarei), and J. H. Van Stavern, Jewish Rabbi (Wellington).
The speaker of the day was his Excellency the Governor-General, Sir Chas. Fcrgiuson, whose address on tlie educatior il needs of the Dominion ia referred to in another column.
