HINDU'S CART IJPSEJ.
OVERTURNED BY MOTOR CAR.
Hindus gesticulated and fruit was strewn in all directions when a fruit cart at the corner of Queen Street and Y ictorin Street, was upset by a car, which; having been parked abow; the cart in Victoria Street, started to move down the hill, its brakes having slipped. Bananas lay in the gutter, apples rolled info Queen Street, pears found their way under someone's feet, and lemons and tomatoes were littered over the roadwa v.
Four or five sons of India were quickly at work gathering the debris and placing it in' fruit boxes, while several of the crowd that quickly collected propped up the damaged cart, whose legs had snapped, and whose wheel had crumpled, with fruit cases.
