ELDERLY WOMAN KILLED. I (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Friday. The death 011 May 13 of Mrs. Jane Rankin Stobb, aged 69,' formed the subject of an inquiry before the coroner. Mr. G. Cruicksliank, to-day. Medical evidence showed that the woman received a fracture at the base of the skull. She partially rcovered consciousness for a few days," the): lapsed into unconsciousness, and died o: heart failure. The coroner returned a verdi - that Mrs. Stobb died from a fracture of the skull as the result of being knocked down by a bicycle ridden by two schoolboys.
