Trophies of tlie I'apatoetoe Bowling and Croquet Clubs for Ihe 11)27-28 season were presented siC the annual social and dance Jit>l din the I'llp.uoetoe Town Hall last evening. The winning members were : — Bowling.—A champion singles, Mr. J. Mcivor ; B champion singles, Mr. F. Wills ; handicap singles (Morgan Cup), Mr. Mcivor; handicap pairs, Messrs. Mcivor and O. Hosking. Croquet".—Championship, Mrs. Parker Hill; consolation cup, Mrs. ,T. de Atli; A handicap singles, Mrs. W. Brown; A doubles, Mrsdames W. Nicholson and T. R. Smviheman; B singles, Mrs. H. Smith; B doubles, iMesdames .Smith and W. Civil. 'i'lie presentations were made by Mr. X. R. Snivthenian, president ot' the bowling club, iimi Mrs. K. McCullongh, president of the croquet club. During tlie evening songs were contributed as follows; —■"Birthday, song Mrs. Meek : duet. "Watchman. What of the Night," Dr. Valentine and Mr. \V.. \V Salter; "Company Sergeant Major, Mr. 11. T.
