Venizelos Comes Back, To Save Party. WILL NOT BE PREMIER. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 9.30 a.m.) ATHENS, May 21. 11l the course of a statement yesterday M. Venizelos said he felt that a refusal on his part to resume the leadership of the Liberal party would have meant its disappearance through dissensions. That would possibly have led to disastrous consequences for the country. Therefore he had taken his decision, but he would be quite ready to leave Greece for ever if by so doini he could facilitate a settlement of the conflict about the future regime. It is now reported that M. Venizelos will not take office as Premier, but will recommend the formation of a Cabinet under M. Safoulis, president of the Chamber of Deputies. However, nothing been settled. The police banned an anti-Venizelos demonstration.
