BRIGHT-EYED CHILDREN.
ADVERTISING EXHIBITION
The Auckland Advertising Club have every reason to be gratified by the patronage given their exhibition "in the Town Hall. The public have been most interested in the line displays and the "gate" has exceeded expectations. Empire Day, which was celebrated yesterday, was responsible for the attendance of a large number of school children, and every facility was given in the morning for the boys and girls to view the many fine exhibits that were staged. An essay competition is being conducted, and children enthusiasticallv collected all the literature that was available on the subject. "They cleared us right out/' was the comment of one of the officials this morning, "and the innumerable questions they asked showed that they are taking a keen and appreciative interest in everything that they saw." The exhibition, which will be concluded to-morrow, has beeu a splendid success from the start, and is a haj.py augury for the staging of annual and larger exhibitions of the kind in the future.
