NORGROVE'S SENTENCE.
OFFICIAL CONSIDERATION.
DECISION" AT END OF MONTH

WELLINGTON, this day.
It is expected that consideration of the death sentence passed on Alan George Norgrove, convicted of the New Lynn murder, will not be undertaken by the Executive Council until the end of this month.
■ Full reports of the case are submitted |by the Supreme Court officers to the Minister of Justice, who brings them before Cabinet. The papers are then submitted to the Governor-General, who acquaints himself with the facts prior to » meeting of the Executive Council, at which his Excellency presides, and at which the decision la made whether the, death sentence shall bo earrtet out.
