A REMAND GRANTED,
Having been arrested by Detective Sergeant McHugh upon a charge of steal--10 j' ° n . , 7 18 ' ei B ht sheets, two pillows and a blanket, of a total value of £1 10/ the property of the Union Steam Ship Company, George Lee (34), a carrier appeared before Mr. F. K. Hunt, at the' Police Court this morning. On the application of Chief Detective Hammond, Lee was remanded until May 29.
Accused, for whom Mr. J. J. Sullivan appeared, was allowed bail.
